I’ll be modeling and texturing a bell to summon ancestor mice, directly influenced by the bell I found in one of the paintings at the art museum. The concept shares the same shape as the original bell, however, it will be made of cardboard, hopefully, all taped together. The handle will be a pencil. The concept sketch has the tape running around it. My model, as of now, has a tape roll incorporated in it instead of tape running around it. I have three variations – one with a pencil, one with a pencil and an eraser on it, and one without a pencil. After learning about textures and materials, I’ll decide which of the three will be most visually interesting.
