Kate Olguin Detailed Game Object

This clockwork mouse head was inspired by some of the suits of armor, the grandfather clock, and the Robert Goddard electronic piece at the museum. Since in the storyline all of the mechanical mice are pretty old, I added metal scuffs with the normal map to make it seem more realistic. Additionally, the eyes are emissive, and have a bit of a red glow to them. These screenshots are from unity.

You did a great job of creating convincing materials. Your metal looks very realistic and the embossed details also look quite convincing. The small details you added look believable and add interest to the design. I would add something to the top of the head if you’re unable to fix the flat circle. Since you mentioned the potential of this being a robo-mouse, an antenna might be a cool addition. Some parts of the ears look like they have sharper edges than the rest of the model. I would consider beveling or smoothing these to give them a more rounded look. I love the steampunk look you achieved!

Really awesome job! I’ve been looking at it now for a few straight minutes and I really can’t come up with any major criticisms or things I would change. The one thing I would say is you could round out/smooth the snout part but I kinda like the strong edges on it. Great job!

The helmet is really well done and is full of interesting detail and really captures that steam punk look. The flat top looks a bit weird but it also looks like the helmet was cast in a mold and the top is where it was poured in. Fixing it would be great but it also looks amazing as it is currently

Steampunk robo-rat sounds freaking awesome. I absolutely love this piece of art. The only points I can give are texture consistency because the ears don’t look welded on, but rather they’re just on there with some glue or even floating.
