My name is Courtney Flokos and I am from Harvard, MA. I am an IMGD Visual Art major so art is very important to me. I take many classes at WPI centered around art and art is my main educational focus. I hope to find a job that allows me to use my art skills and IMGD Visual Art degree. I also enjoy to complete digital and traditional art pieces in my spare time. I have had a good amount of experience using digital art in my time at WPI. I have learned how to digitally paint in programs such as Photoshop and am now fairly proficient. I have been traditionally making art my whole life. I have always enjoyed sketching and drawing in sketch books. I am interested in improving my 3D art skills. I have limited experience with 3D modeling, but I did take the 3D Modeling 1 course WPI offers. Last term, I made a game in a group project for my IMGD 4700 class. I helped make the game in the Unreal Engine. This was my first time using the Unreal Engine and I learned a lot from the course. Some other creative arts I like to practice include sewing, knitting, and making blankets. A game that I find both inspiring and fun is League of Legends. I love the art style League uses, it has both elements of realism but combines that with a cartoon and sometimes anime look. I also am very inspired by Studio Ghibli. I love the art style and stories of the movies Studio Ghibli produces. Something fun to know about me is that I have a guinea pig named Tootsie Roll, but I call her Tootsie for short. She is about a year and a half years old and she is extremely sweet. She is a teddy guinea pig breed so she is very fluffy. She often appears in art pieces I create.

I love how *colorful* your work is! The sunny animal drawings are so adorable. Even the darker and toned-down illustrations have interesting hue changes in the skin. I’m also curious of the meaning behind the collage with the praying girl and piano – is that you?
I give you the cute badge 🙂
I love the cute expressions and poses you put your characters in! Makes me smile. Especially Scooby, I remember seeing that one before too, and he just looks so innocent there.
I give you the quirky badge! I love how your work feels light and airy even when depicting more gritty characters or ideas such as death. Your coloring style is very interesting and I love your traditional drawings 🙂
I’m giving you the Colorful badge because all of your pieces are so vibrant and full of color!
I give this the colorful badge for your work is very vibrant. Big kudos to the Lulu painting!
Colorful!
Everything that you make is so colorful, I think that you have a great eye for coloring things to look vibrant.
Hi Courtney,
I’m giving you the cute badge! I love how you draw your animals and Scooby doo. It gives them life and personality to your drawings.
COLORFUL!
Definitely some of the best color design I’ve seen. Some works are bright and vibrant, others are more realistic, and you managed to craft color schemes which can compliment both styles while still standing out.
