What is the feeling you get when you see these mushrooms? How would you describe their texture and how do they feel to the touch?

Thanks! I’m glad my objects seem soft and I’d like to give them some more surface depth and detail. I will have 4 types of mushroom tops (a really flat type that sometmes also grows out of tree trunks and a longer ghost-shaped one). There will probably be 30 mushrooms with varying sizes in the scene.
Statement of Meaning: The gentle and almost “bouncy” feeling of your models reflect the world you are building very well.
Neutral Question: How do you plan on closing off the edges of the map?
Opinion: I can totally see my friends and I playing a game with this art style, it’s so cute and the sizing reminds me of “Grounded”
Bouncy! That’d be a great feature to have -a bouncy mushroom trampoline. My plan for closing off the edges is a combination of large rocks, dense foliage, and steep hills / cliffs.
I am pleased by your choice of lighting for the BG and the orange color I feel works well, it’s soothing.
I think the texture reminds me of felt or fabric that is on shoes. It seems slightly fuzzy but rough. Your level gives me a soothing feeling which is warm.

Will the player be first person or third when walking through the level?
I agree with your assessment that it seems a little rough but fuzzy – I think like suede. Other people commented that it looks soft so I’d like to enhance that characteristic a bit more (still tyring to figure that out). I’m planning on first person but I’m not hard set on it.
Yes I was thinking of suede but the word wasn’t coming to mind. First person sounds like it would work well because you mentioned the player is quite small in scale.
Statement of Meaning: I really enjoy the organic flow of the mushrooms and the texturing on them.
Answer: The first thing which came to mind when I saw the mushrooms was “felt” (like the texture). They look very soft and pleasant to touch!
