Hannah Belan Character Animation

Using Mixamo I was able to put together a bunch of goofy and fun animations for December as well as ones I can actually use in the game itself. I really enjoyed playing around in their vast library and changing values little by little to get the animations to a point where I liked them. Luckily, since Decembers clothing is not flowy nor does it create extra areas that could be mistaken for appendages by the program, I was able to make the animations for my game with little trouble 🙂

I’m so jealous you got Mixamo to behave itself. It’s a great fit too, if I wasn’t familiar with the Mixamo animations I would NOT have guessed that this rig was procedurally generated

I really got lucky! Because I modeled him with a bit too steep of a curve in his knees some animations look downright goofy on him -his shins get stretched and disfigured – but thankfully the animations I needed for the game seemed to cooperate with my build 😀

Your animation is so fun! It looks like you were able to get your character to move well and even dance!

I didn’t use Mixamo either but I’m glad you got the rig to work well enough for your game (with the animations you need). Looking forward to playing through your game level!

Wow I was surprised seeing December dance! I’m guessing they wouldn’t do that in the game but it might be funny to render out a video of them dancing and play it on a laptop or camcorder or something. It would be similar to the photos of happy memories.

The model is made really well to complement the animation/movement.

Hahaha, I love the dance! I think it really suits the character you’ve created!
