So I decided to go for a different color palette for the character’s clothes. It’s a lot less flashy and more laid back, matching the personality I’m aiming for the character to have.

His futuristic jacket definitely reflects his interest in space. I really like his facial features and your plan to make his eyes a little wonky. Other than async blinking and eyeball directions, I imagine some subtle closed-mouth movements that might happen with grunts or humming.
