Hey all!
Due to the unique nature that my scene is all interiors and very little (if maybe not even any) exteriors, it’s a bit difficult to make a modular level. It also has to do with the fact that the level is all sorts of different unique shapes and not very tilable, so it’s a bit difficult to do so. Least to say, my approach is a little different.
What I ended up doing is working on creating modular interior elements. Not to be confused with set-dressing, my modular elements are what I use to populate the interiors with pieces that help distinguish the level a bit more than just having, say, a flat wall.

The above is just an example of random décor that goes around the levels. Here’s some more examples (using the power of three monitors and print+screen since I’m too lazy to render them all separately).

You might need to let that picture load, or just open it up to see it in better detail.
As for the level, here’s how it starts to look like when you populate it!

And a little teaser image of some texture designing (not the actual textures! I’m just designing my own custom textures for the facility)!
