Hannah Belan Modular Building Kit

After discussing my initial map plan with professor Rosenstock, I have decided to reel in my design a bit and firstly focus on the interior map of the home before deciding whether or not I am able to move on to the exterior area surrounding the house. My modular building kit for the interior of the home will focus on walls, trimming, flooring, windows, and doors, and objects I plan to have repeatedly placed throughout the level such as picture frames, plants in pots, outlets, switches, and gingerbreading like decorative wooden beams. Although these items may be considered more detailed than what is expected of a modular building kit, they are the items I expect to be repeatedly found throughout the map the most, so it makes the most sense to me for them to be within the kit. The “vibe” of the house should be cluttered, but organized and clean in a hollow way; the home has all of the personal items and decoration in it yet it still feels untouched.
