This is my game concept proposal!
I was thinking all the characters be bugs! The main character will be a ladybug and the NPCs will be whatever else! The game starts in your house and the fridge is empty and you are broke so you go to the grocery store with a can of raid or something and rob it. I know I said I wanted guns but I felt like that mayyyyy be a bit too cruel? So you will rob the bug grocery store with bug spray. I want the player to be able to “kill” NPCs but also actually collect items from the store to bring back home. I want there to be like normal grocery stuff like food items and that kind of stuff. The style I would like is something simplistic and colorful, similar to maybe untitled goose game or Dandy’s world? (Yes I said it, I like dandy’s world :3)

I think the idea of the bugs killing each other with bug spray instead of guns is grim but in a funny way. What kind of bugs are you thinking for the other NPCs?
I really wanna do like beetles, moths, ants, and spiders, I haven’t fleshed it out all too much. I think an Anomalocaris would be funny (while not a bug and would make no sense here)
I love how the setting seems super cozy but with cruel game mechanics like killing NPCs and robbing stores. Would the bugs eat normal groceries or bug related food?
I really want to have fun with the food items if I get the time, I want like half bug themed human food stuff and also just some silly outlandish items.

I love the concept of a bug killing other bugs with bug spray, it’s hilarious. Are you planning to include any other objectives besides grocery shopping?
I’m not quite sure yet, All I have in my brain is kill bugs get groceries profit. It would be funny if you would pick up their dead bodies and being them home too as ingredients is that a too morbid idea, bugs do eat bugs 😀 (idk I want the whole thing to be stupid)
The bug spray instead of a gun got a little laugh out of me, honestly! It’s a little messed up still, but I can see why you went with it in a nice way! Do you think you’ll include any bugs, like roaches, that are harder to handle with just a can of raid?
