My name is Immanuel Pabon, and I’m from a small town in Mass. Art, (specifically game art) is one of my greatest passions, and I’ve been fortunate to have opportunities to create artwork for others to enjoy. I work entirely digitally, I’m terrible at traditional art because I don’t have the patience for it. This past year has been challenging, but creating art has always been a space where I feel grounded.
Over the summer, I had the opportunity to work as a subcontractor for a Roblox game called NPC or Die. I created concept art, thumbnails, UI art, and more while collaborating with real game developers. I even had the chance to work with Roblox on an official event. One of the most rewarding parts was seeing my little cousins interact with the art I created in a game I used to play as a kid. It was an incredible experience.
