• My name is Matthew Ford, and I am from Pittsburgh Pennsylvania
• How art fits into your current life and your life goals
• At this this point in my life, art serves as a creative way for me to not only create but demonstrate my ambitions and desires. I have always had a passion for sports and videogames but through my art I am able to better appreciate the 2 and see some of the difficulties that are not often discussed when it comes to creation in those fields.
• Your experience with digital and traditional art making, in courses or otherwise
• So far, I have had a moderate amount of experience across different platforms and apps when it comes to digital art. Unfortunately, I have nothing to show for it as of now due to a recent computer virus that corrupted all but some of my files
• Something you are interested in improving about your art skills
• I would love to see me improve my realism when it comes humanoid pieces, especially to the 3d models/statutes that I make of legendary football plays/moments
• Your experience making games
• I have a lot of experience when it comes to making games, I actually already have 2 fully published games and established art for over 5 other solo projects (hit by virus)
• Other creative arts you like to practice (writing, dance, crafts, music, theater, etc)
• Although i do not focus on music or film, I do have experience when it comes to composing music and short films. However, I cannot get the link set up for some reason
• Games or other media you find artistically inspiring
• I have always been a fan of party games and simple polygon games. Often times it’s the people you play with that make games better overall. Just look at PEAK which was made in a month by 4 people, and it is doing amazing rn.
• Anything else you’d like your classmates and professor to know about you
• I am currently the starting fullback for the WPI varsity football team (#38)
