For this concept, I drew inspiration from the aesthetic of old apartments in the former Soviet Union. Their musty character adds the desired sense of isolation to the dark interior. I have designed what are likely the largest and most essential models that define the look of such an apartment, but I plan to add many smaller details—like a carpet, bottles, lamps, and more—to fully convey the intended atmosphere.
