People: You play as a superhero, patrolling the city at night. After some investigation, you realize your main informant for your current case is being targeted. Unfortunately, you’re too late to save them and now must gather clues to solve their murder as well as evidence for your case.
Places: The game takes place at night in the alleyway of your former informant’s apartment building. The alleyway has been blocked off by the police for investigation, so you are trying to go unnoticed by any officers that may be in the area.
Things: The player will observe the crime scene and try to find clues to determine what happened. Some of these clues don’t quite add up, and you realize that your informant has actually been kidnapped and must search for anything helpful to find them and anything they may have left behind.
Style: The look of the game is stylized but not too abstract. It uses realistic proportions and draws inspiration from comic books.
Gameplay: The gameplay would be similar to other superhero action-adventure games, with an emphasis on puzzle mechanics to gather evidence and solve the crime scene.

Will the entire game world in a dark tone?
I plan on the overall world to be on the darker side with the evidence being a bit more saturated.

Definitely windows. I also will for sure have streetlights, window AC units, and fire escapes.
