I’m Allison Nguyen, and I’m from the greater Boston area of Massachusetts. I’m a senior IMGD (BA) student. My focus is 3D character modeling, but I also have experience with rigging, animation (2D and 3D), 2D digital art, and traditional art.
One thing I’m interested in improving during this class is my environmental modeling, since I don’t have as much experience with it compared to character modeling.
Some games I find artistically inspiring are Jet Set Radio, Space Channel 5, and Lollipop Chainsaw. Besides games, I also enjoy reading comics (mainly DC) and general comic-related media. Arts is also a large part of my hobbies. My favorite is jewelry making, but I also enjoy clay crafting and screenprinting.

These are models I created for the project I worked on in IMGD4500. The concept was a magical boy transported into a world of monsters. I really enjoyed modeling characters that had such a stark contrast to each other.

Here are some other 3D models I’ve done. The left is a model I made while working on an ISP for the MQP Project Boca/Plates of Power last school year. The middle is Noodle from Gorillaz, and the right is Rainbow Brite.
This is a model I created for 3D modeling II based on Scarecrow from Batman: Arkham Knight.

Here is some of my digital 2D art: the left is Superboy, and the right is V1 from Ultrakill.
I worked on this for midterms when I took 3D animation I.
This is a Steam Deck loading screen I made inspired by the Batman: Arkham series.
