Aidan Sensiba – Bio/Artworks

Hi! I’m Aidan Sensiba, a sophomore IMGD student from the small town of Long Eddy in upstate New York. I have been creating games in Game Maker since middle school, and I enjoy both the technical and creative work involved. Last year, I created a game in IMGD 1001 called The Legend of Gompei with a few classmates. As for programming, I know the basics of Java, C, Python, and a few other languages like GML, the scripting language for Game Maker.

Most of the digital art I have made was created in Photoshop. I also enjoy drawing with pen and paper, and I recently participated a bit in “Inktober”, in which one can draw something based on a new theme each day and share it online. I am inspired by many different aspects of life, including games, other visual artists’ creations, organic forms, mechanical parts, and nature.

Another creative art that I spend time with is music. I play piano and often figure out songs by ear, many of which are also from video games. I also played the trumpet in my high school band.

Here are a few of my creative works:

A “Meat Boy” fanart.

An illustration made for AR 1100.

Some “Inktober” sketches.

A think tank.

A brain surgeon.

(Yes, there’s a lot of brains.)
