As mentioned before, my final project’s theme is about perception. I painted the art piece using Adobe Photoshop. The printing process was challenging since I needed a good printer to display all I had on the screen. Fortunately the UPS printing center down in Park Ave could provide that.

For the sounds, I recorded the guitar chords by myself with the help of REAPER. Putting the piece together took some time and patience so that I wouldn’t destroy the print. Conductive threads were weaved into the painting and match the hair strands on the painting. Makey Makey  board was connected to the threads. The playback mechanics was made easy by the MAX 7 patch.

I had a lot of fun and learned a lot as well in the class. Enjoy the final piece and Merry Christmas to everyone!
