I like that the moving circle is synched to the beat. How about adding another element, like the color changes each cycle? You could use a counter or a [+] object to cycle through color values.
I agree with the professor; while this is a good base, I can’t help but feel that both the visual and audio aspect are somewhat flat. This could be resolved with a secondary beat that has another object or property animating in sync with it.

I think you can add more to this piece just by adding another circle moving in different direction with different color. But the syncing is nice.
