For this project, I used a simple beat with a random 7th beat. Visually, I used 3 bouncing balls (approximated with scaled sin waves) to visualize the beat using the 3 balls. The balls fade to a random color on impact, and the background changes color on the 7th beat.
Nice rhythmic unity of image and sound.
I like the fading colors. Nice job with the physics on the ball on the far right, it slows down just as it reaches the peak. Bravo.
I very much like the idea that they are bouncing balls with different densities and sizes. The slow color fading and rhythmic beat is pleasing to both look at and listen to.
I really like how the balls appear to be playing a drumkit. It’s a nice way of tying the audio into the visual aspects of the piece.
