Maquette – Alex Boggess

Earlier this week, I order all of the parts that I need to create a working Laser Etch-a-sketch. This includes an Arduino Nano, two Fast Speed Servos, two potentiometers, a push button, and some mirrors. Once the parts arrived, I started CADing in SolidWorks so that I could continue designing the Laser Etch-a-sketch. Below, you can see my CAD models. Once I finalize the design, I will be able to 3D print the parts and assemble. After the mechanical aspect of this project is finished, then I can focus on the programming.

I plan on finishing this design mid week, which gives me plenty of time to 3D print, assemble, and program before next Monday.
