For this project, I want to create a virtual window. I did some research on windows.
After doing those research, I personally think window frames are especially important. Otherwise, the end result is likely to be just a screen on the wall rather than a window. You need a window frame to tell people it’s a window. And also the window frame itself creates the depth of the view, telling the viewer that the view is on the other side of the wall, not the image on the wall.
During my research, I found this product called Atmoph Window.

It’s actually just a monitor, with a frame. But the frame really makes it looks different from just a monitor. The effect of this product made me more sure that I was right.
I browsed many window frame types on Google.
One of the two windows that eventually caught my attention was the Palladian window. The other one is the so-called French window.

Based on these two styles, I created these two models.

For French windows, the windows can be opened. I have good expectations for the final result of this. I expected the open windows can create a good feeling of depth.

I plan to test open the window in both directions to see which one will perform better.
