I don’t know if it’s fate. All my classrooms this semester have no windows, the studio in Unity Hall also has no windows. If iLab counts, it’s probably the only classroom with windows. (But now after spring break, it’s gone too.)
And I want a window!
I got inspired by the movie Treasure Planet, there is a window that shows different view.
Instead of actually having a window in the movie, I wanted to use AR to create a virtual window on a white wall.

I would love to use AR glasses, after all this is the most ideal device. But succumbing to the harsh reality, I think I’ll use my phone.
I want a clean and simple interface, so there won’t be anything on the screen other than the window frame. Users can tap the screen to switch the view outside the window. I hope that exploring the random view can be an interesting experience.
I love this idea. As a teenager, my bedroom was in our finished basement. I did not have any windows. I hated it. I think this would have been an awesome experience. I can’t wait to see it.
