Locate and move, seeks to look at the confusion of spaces that an individual might encounter on a daily basis. Often times boundaries are created because of cultural norms or agendas, government or humans control just as much as they occupy geography. Every time you reach a new destination you make a set of calculations to determine if you have been there before what you know about this location and what the next steps will be for yourself when inside the space.
The main character for this game will be Alexander a curious person interested in learning more about his surrounding areas that are adjacent to where they live, but also getting to know those histories that have come before them and those that will be present in the future. Alexander has access to their “Jammer” which is used similarly to the way in which you might use a cellphone or morse code to enter a pattern of inputs by pressing the buttons which help them navigate from place to place or change the environment of where they are currently standing into a new location or a different version of that location.
The outlined, abstract world is made up of lines and shapes which denote and reference the different areas that Alexander is able to move as they make their way throughout the different spaces and places.
The additional character is going to a voice that is speaking about the different histories of redlining and cultural biases, or environmental issues that are happening around us every day. I am curious how this can work in this type of game setting, almost like a soundtrack of urban planning ethics and social justice talks.

The Jammer would ideally make melodic sounds when played, that could make a for a pleasant experience when traveling from place to place.
