I struggled to settle on one game piece for a long time. I knew I wanted to do a celtic themed piece but could not work it out. I tried multiple knots. Nothing inspired me until, a full game presented itself, as if in a dream. 🙂 I have protoyped the pieces in paper and tried to get something I could cut and engrave on the laser cutter. Again, my attempts were not satisfactory. I am posting my current iteration, but I am going to rework it completely again later this week. The contrast is all off. I hope to cut an acrylic version for more prototyping but plan on a wooden version for the finished piece. The game will be based on a five sided chess board and A Midsummer Night’s Dream.
