After some hemming and hawing, I decided to give up on my soda can idea and use mostly clay. I will later cover the clay with labels from plastic bottles.

For this week, I focused on creating the silhouettes. Although they aren’t where I want them to be yet, this is a good start.

I’m especially not satisfied with the mother polar bear statue and will need to rework it.

For my final week, I will refine the shadows, make the clay appear more abstract, and cover it in the plastic labels. I will also create the base, backdrop, and set up the lights.
