Following the issues I was getting last week with my 3D printer and the incomplete prints I was receiving, I switched my system over to OctoPrint to get rid of the SD card issues I was having.

I have almost got everything put together, and have one final piece printing as I write this post. Following this print, I will be putting everything onto a piece of acrylic to keep everything together and make it look nice. By tonight, I plan on having the entire model fully together, and will only need to finish playing around with the lighting till I get it just right.

Originally I was planning on incorporating a motor into the design, but also have began to consider printing some sort of gear and allow the viewer to rotate the zeotrope on their own, as I wanted to incorporate some sort of interaction into the piece.
