Chul Hyun Ahn was born in Pusan, Korea in 1971. He got his BFA at Chu Gye University for the Arts in Seoul in 1997, and his MFA from Maryland Institute College of Art in Baltimore, MD in 2002. He lives and works in Baltimore and has frequent exhibitions at the C. Grimaldis Gallery, also in Baltimore.

His artwork is about infinite space, and is zen and very interpretative. Look at the artwork and see how you feel about it. To quote the artist: “By looking at the emptiness, I hope people can find the place or something they’d been searching for.”
