This week I spent about 12 hours in the studio learning about the properties of this new clay body and attempting to make the rough cuts for my final piece. I did 4 of the sides with minimal cracking, that I fixed. I had an issue with the clay not holding together as well as I expected so I had to be very meticulous with the cuts to prevent the piece from breaking.
