Practice Intention Part 2

For my final, I also wanted it to be in AR, so I did some testing with it while making the mesh, but after some time it was so hard to get the mesh to look the way I wanted, I ran out of time with the AR. The way that I ended up building the final version of the 3D models is causing some errors when applying the texture in Unity, but here is an example of the game pieces floating in space before their final version.

This is a lidar scan of a mural my friend made, then I made it into a small unity app that they will run at an event on the 10th in Minneapolis, they will also have the ability to QR code and explore the object on their own devices as well as one we have provided for them at the event.
This is Missy’s mural scan running on the tablet in the way it will at the event. I also added a small rotating script, but will remove it because there is not back to this mural so the rotation actually makes it hard to see.
I went back and found my the first thing I really remember making in Unity, it is this roller ball game, I have a beat that I made playing over this, this idea project has been the inspiration for other ideas I have to mix the music work with interactive media, basically adding personalized music to an experience. This already is a thing within games, but was cool to start that journey. I like looking back to see how far you have come along. This was made by me almost 6 years ago, when I first started becoming very interested in using unity and gaming engines to make things.
This is just me jamming on some AR, I dont remember how far I got in this session, but it was one that I had during this past term.
This is an intro to an artist profile I was making for my friend, I had this idea to go from the title card into his studio via a lidar 3D scan and then cut to the live action. This was really fun to work on, but I might actually cut it from the final pieces because now that we have made changes to the edit, I think it throws off the work in a way that was not happening before changes to the content were made. This was really fun, and I look forward to doing more of this process.
