At the beginning of the week I did the finishing touches on my piece. This included finishing and remolding the sides brushing over all surfaces and removing dust.

After I finished the finishing touches I was able to fire it, Unfortunately it experienced some cracks but luckily these cracks will be filled during glazing. I will be presenting it fired once and glaze fire it next week. I considered adding led strips but I ultimately like the look of a candle much better. It is alluring and looks beautiful and traditional.
