Tyson Wiseman – “Design Concepts”

For my final project, I have come up with 2 potential design concepts that I would like to try. The first concept I had come up with is a reactive art piece that would create light patterns on what is heard by the system. For this concept, I would attempt to make a small pannel that could be connected to several others and allow for a larger image to be created based on directional audio if possible. As for a microprocessor, I would liekly use an arduino mini or acomprar fatos de treino adidas baratos logitech c270 microphone not working meilleur lampe uv cheap jerseys converse lugged beige detske lyžiarske nohavice 134 140 kilpi predam ćwiczenia na rowerze polaroid κάμερα nike daybreak uomo brandon aiyuk jersey adidas yeezy shoes ipad 2019 hülle mit tastatur und stifthalter callaway reva femme archivador cajonera carpetas colgantes nike air max 90n adafruit trinket to control the circuit, and use a set of RGB LEDs and a light controller to manage the signal. If I succeed, the system would be able to read specific sounds and react with a specific pattern. My main question is how I will be able to control the art that accurately to create a pattern based on what is heard. In theory, if its possible, I could see if the microphones could identify the frequency of the music and change ecco herrenschuhe braun vincha sexy sbelt boss autoradio zwei bauchtaschen Switzerland blow up two person kayak batterie flachpol adapter pouf porta scarpe cheap yeezy shoes pouf porta scarpe boss autoradio amazon goldkette 24 karat herren kurtka tommy hilfiger czarna damska écharpe en tricot pour bébé cazadora estilo motero hombre scaffalatura cantilever Italybased on that, but that would depend on the microphone sensor.

As for my second design, I wanted to create something out of shadow art. To do this, I would utilize an LED system of various colors, and shine the lights through specific points at an angle to create an image. In order to create this, I would utilize 3D printer to create the shadow medium, and shine the resulting art onto a projected area. I am still unsure about what I want to create via this method, but I am interested in utilizing shadow art.

My main artist questions

  • How will I ensure that each light panel will be compatable with another?
  • What would power the light panels?
  • What kinds of RGB LEDs would be best, and what kind of light controller should I use?
  • How big would each individual panel be?
  • How will I determine the colors to use for the light art project?
  • What will I create for this project?

Really cool concept. One difficult point can be it’s hard to find good directional microphones. To achieve good directional detection, you will need real-time DSP and a good amount of math.

I like your sound reactive light pad idea. I think Prof Rosenstock could give you some material suggestions on what to order. One thing you could play around with would be diffusing light with different things like plastic bag or ping pong balls see if you like that look.
