This week I created a box to hide the wires for the lasers. It is made out of 3/4″ plywood which is held together using epoxy. The box is designed to allow a power strip to sit inside with room to access its power switch. This allows the lasers to be turned on and off easily. The box is also designed to hold the connectors for the lasers in place making it easy to plug in and unplug the different lasers. I intend to paint this box black, unfortunately I did not get the opportunity to paint it before the presentation.

In addition to the wiring box, I also ordered a smoke machine to visualize the lasers in air. This smoke machine works well at clouding the air to see the lasers, however it is too powerful to consistently operate inside, limiting its use to a garage or similar environment.
