Hi, I’m Thea! I was born and raised in good old Massachusetts! As of writing this I am a senior Computer Science major at WPI, hopefully with minors in Robotics Engineering and in Electrical and Computer Engineering.
I really enjoy art, whether it is traditional painting and drawing, digital art and animation, or more niche arts and mediums like crochet, french-beaded flowers, and resin. The process of creating something new every time is exciting to me; I can watch each creation take shape and transition from basic materials to formless blobs to finally a beautiful work of art.
Following my academic interests, I have lots of experience with programming, as well as with electronics and robotics. However I have yet to merge these skills with my passion for art, and I am excited to try mixing them to create something new!

French Beaded Flowers – Personal Project

The badge I am giving you is cute. The beaded flowers are so and absolutely so impressive. I also really love The Jester.
Impressive: The Starry Night drawing is seriously impressive to the extent where I thought it was the actual thing when I briefly scrolled by it.
Gorgeous: Van Gogh is my favorite artist of all time, I love impressionism, and The Starry Night is my favorite painting so I can say with absolute certainty this has left me speechless, you are so talented and that is a gorgeous recreation of the painting.
Shiny: Lots of people make art revolving around flowers, but the way you created them with beads very special and unique.
Impressive: Your hand-drawn pieces demonstrate mastery of shading and versatility.
Shiny: I love how the light catches on your beaded flowers!
Cute: I love the way that those flower look with the beads.
Shiny: the use of materials that shine or have more specular highlights gives depth and makes the pieces seem more full.
Cute: from the flowers to your animation and your drawings, you art has a very distinctive, cutesy style to it.
Cute: I’ve never seen a type of art like those beaded flowers. They look very time consuming and intricate. I enjoy making crochet flowers so maybe I should give this a try!
