So for my project it was a bit difficult to make a maquette or a proof of concept without going all out so instead I started this week by looking into what colors would reflect the best with the LED lights I had. After some testing with some doodles on my whiteboard I decided to focus on animation with EL wire rather then the Carnovsky style I was originally looking into. Although I was able to get the right colors to reflect the LEDs the only way I could get the animation to look good was by rapidly flashing lights and it was honestly painful to look at for more then a few seconds.

Using EL wire will allow me to have more definition between the different frames as each frame will be on or off rather than only partially hidden like in the Carnovsky method. My current parts list is as follows;
