surprisingly I made a major redesign durning the last week. after realizing it would be very difficult to attach the wire long the outline of the dogs I decided to make use of the optical effects of acrylic and attach the wire to the outer edge of each sheet instead. This has its pros and cons as it makes the piece look much cleaner but at the cost of being less bright. With any natural daylight the animation becomes invisible but at night it looks great. my plan its to mount the piece with a wood frame to cover the edged of the acrylic where the wire is taped down. I also want to file the edges the dogs a bit to make the acrylic refract more light towards the viewer.

The overall result come out well but if I made it again I would use LEDs instead of light wire because it would be a cheaper and brighter way to get the same effect.
