This week I was able to finish stringing my balloons to the box and my background drawing. I used fishing line to attach the balloons at different heights and added the background to a piece of cardboard offset from the back of the box using glue. I am pretty much all set with everything for my project! I am just finishing up getting the lighting right for high quality pictures of the final piece. I will also take a video so the flickering of the lights could be experienced. I was able to incorporate the string lights as both stars and the lights for the balloons in the drawing.

I am thinking of adding some back lighting and changing the angle of the string lights a bit so that the background can be seen better in the dark for the final presentation.
