I ended up finishing my whole project this week! I grinded all of the glass pieces, soldered the sheets, and soldered each sheet together in the rectangular orientation of the lamp. The solder is silver, but I have a solution that you put on it that turns it black which I think looks a lot better then the silver. I also got two small LED spotlights that I wired to the light socket that I bought. The spotlights were the perfect touch, it illuminated the lamp just as I imagined in my head and they created really great shadows and color patterns. For my final documentation I found an empty wall in my room and placed my lamp on top of a wooden table that I have. I am not trying to conceal the lamp wire since it is an artistic piece to my project being wrapped in twine.
