Everything Working

on

Last week I finished multiple main tasks for my final project so I could focus on more extraneous goals for this week. The first objective on my list was getting the software to work as desired. Second, I wanted to put together part of the housing so I could start organizing my project.

I mentioned that the hardest part of the software would be manipulating a large number and I was right. However, I realized that I could manage the number better if it was split up by player. After that the program ran as expected.

Here is a video of my project at this point:

I think for the final presentation your project will look really good with the wired hidden inside of the box, it will look more professional and neat. I also like your idea of incorporating an amination into the project.

I think a simple reset animation where the lights flash briefly three times would look nice, you could also do that same animation for each individual column of lights when they reset.

I think it looks really cool and I liked your idea in class of incorporating a sign at the top saying SKATE or HORSE. Maybe you could just use some El wire and make simple neon lettering. I still think its awesome that you’ll get to use your project when you’re all done!

This looks great! Excited to see the final product and I agree that a reset animation would be really cool.

You could use a small LCD for the sign if you have one lying around from classes
