I’m very excited to be presenting an all new version of the Fermentophone at the 2015 Farm/Art DTour, which is part of the Wormfarm Institute’s Fermentation Fest:  A Live Culture Convergence in Sauk County, Wisconsin.

I did an Artist Q&A that explains a bit about my work.

“I’ve long been equally passionate about creating electronic art and creating delicious things to eat. Making a meal has many things in common with making art: you start with some interesting ingredients and tools, undergo a transformative process, and end up with something beautiful, nourishing, and sometimes challenging to consume. Fermented foods are some of my favorites to make, and I ended up having a “blinding flash of the obvious” wherein I realized that I could combine my disparate art, music, and cooking practices into one multi-sensory experience.”
