More learning & application this week! I spent the time learning about particle simulations and the like to really get the focal point done so I can finally<\/em> move on to something else. I’ve got what I think is my final for now, so in the coming days it will all be modeling & what I’m more familiar with. I’m not anticipating super<\/em> beautiful and realistic models, but I am pushing myself to make things look better than my norm.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Thinking about a backfill light to help with the sillhouette. Yeah, the ocean is dark and scary, but where’s the horror if you can’t even see a sillhouette??<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<\/figure>\n\n\n\n

Here’s some iterations so far, with the most recent being at the bottom! Yes, it may look like a bunch of the same video but there are differences, I promise!<\/p>\n\n\n\n

More camera movement & a dimmer light to help sell the darkness & depth of the ocean. I initially just tried a flickering light but it doesn’t really darken anything when it dims. I tried remedying this with a much smaller light radius.<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n\n\n\n
