I’m stuck between two ideas… <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Volumetric Display<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

The first is a more light-art themes project to created a 3D volumetric display. There are very few on the internet and they are usually very expensive, complicated builds. I’d love to create a simpler, more affordable build that many others could also make. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

My main inspirations for this project were VOXON and James Brown, both of whom make amazing volumetric displays!: <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Automated CAD Designer <\/h2>\n\n\n\n

The second project hits a little closer to home… When I was getting started with making projects, I constantly ran into the barrier of not being “good” at 3D design. I’d like to help alleviate that problem for other people by developing an app for users to type in a text prompt and then be greeted with a 3D model that they can print! The main challenge here is quantizing the model to the point that it can run on personal computers. The inspiration for this project came from a YC startup, AdamCAD: <\/p>\n\n\n\n
