I have always been interested in working with stained glass as I love the visual effects of it. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
I was thinking of having four different stained glass pieces held together by a wooden structure. Each stained glass piece would be a different flower design. My idea is to have each of the glass panels be a trapezoidal shape so that the lantern shines the pattern on the table or floor. The top is solid wood so that the light fully goes through the glass instead of out of the top and bottom. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

I still enjoyed the idea of a lantern that had a picture that would show on the wall or ground, so I thought of a shadow display instead of colors with a crocheted design. <\/p>\n\n\n\n There would also be a wooden structure holding all four sides together, which would be different flowers. <\/p>\n\n\n\n 3D Stained Glass Flower Garden<\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n Then I thought about going back to stained glass which I am interested in working with, but a different design. <\/p>\n\n\n\n I love three dimensional object so I was interested in making a flower that wasn’t just in the second dimension. But I wanted a bit more of a light edge to it, which is why I thought lantern first, so I have the idea of placing lights underneath the three dimensional flowers so that light goes up through the glass. I was also thinking of having it as a little garden so that it would take up an adequate amount of time for the term. This is a macrame lanter with a similar idea of the shadows I would like to have show on the wall. And the image above is a crochet technique called filet which I have never tried before and I was initially thinking to make the design out of. <\/figcaption><\/figure><\/div><\/div>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n
