Introduction and Art Portfolio

Hey there, my name is Nikhil. I am a junior RBE major from California who believes that art is unique in its ability to capture the attention and hearts of vast audiences. I’m excited for this class to learn more about the intersection between art and technology. I began my journey in art working in a woodshop, practicing photography, and continued immersing myself in art at WPI where I have taken Essentials of Art, Digital Art, 2D Animation, and Art in the Makerspace. Beyond visual art, I also used to play the piano and guitar, have written a book, and have taken dance classes like Ballroom. I have used the makerspace as an HPRC member, specifically the laser cutter, hand tools, and 3D printers in the pursuit of fabricating an autonomous, folding quadcopter. I’m super excited to meet all of you and to take this class, here’s to a great term!
