It’s (mostly) done! Above is my final “Miniature Skyspace” in all her glory. I was able to add a “shelf” to hide the color changing LED’s, put the wood pattern on the walls, and also added a frame around the front of the shadowbox (against the glass) to help conceal any backlight leaking through. Additionally, I got new backlights, as my previous ones were motion-sensored and not good, lol.
The reason I say “mostly” done is because there are some small tweaks I would like to make to meet my perfect standards, like a wood pattern that actually matches the forced perspective, or even caulking some edges with something so absolutely no light bleeds where I don’t want it to.
Overall, though, I’m quite proud of my progress on this project throughout the term, and look forward to actually displaying this as an permanent art piece in my room.
