Since last update, I did not have much left to do.
The first thing on the docket was to finish the slides.
The light blue cellophane arrived, so I worked on adding those over the weekend. I also tried cleaning up the coloring a bit more, taking your guys’ advice in to account. I like how the slides came out, especially when they are all lined up together.

I also lined the back with masking tape so that none of the cellophane gets messed up while sliding in and out the box. It also helps to make the back look a little cleaner (though that isn’t super important).
The second thing on the docket was to test out some of the advice you guys gave me on the lighting.
So, I lied last week… Looking at the lighting again it was actually yellow that was bothering me. But as you guys suggested, I took a bit of colored cellophane to try and cancel it out. Since purple is opposite yellow on the color wheel, I decided to use that.
It doesn’t completely cancel it out, but it definitely makes it a lot less harsh. I only have the cellophane at the top, because that is where the yellow shows up. The yellow tint comes from this yellow mesh that’s over the light and it moves depending on the centering of the light. I tried to find a location where it doesn’t show, but It’s not possible to get rid of it completely, so I have it where it shows less. Anyways, it definitely is looking better so thank you everyone.
Last but not least, something that wasn’t on the docket, but I ended up doing anyways:
I made stoppers for the slides. I have been tossing this idea around in my head since the beginning, but I finally got fed up enough that I made stoppers for the slides so that they won’t move around/fall out too much while I am setting up/taking pictures.
The stoppers are just thin pieces of wood that slide in and stay in (since they are just slightly too thick for the rails).
I did play around with taking pictures, but my light died on me, so I didn’t get any good ones. I am slowly figuring out how to make it look good though, also playing around with editing and all that.
Besides, I think for now it will be better to show in person.
