The video showing my project in its final form can be seen below.
Executing this process required a balance between planning and working with what nature had to offer. The final site I chose was a harbor which allowed me to film facing west over water to incorporate the sunset. I planned the burn for a day when the tide was low so I could walk out onto the mudflats and be far from any fire hazards. I did a lot of final assembly on site (seen in the picture below) and used aspects of the land around for the final staging such as the stick used to elevate the sculpture.

To film the process I used a tripod and my phone camera. I then edited the video to slowly zoom out, added some of my favorite music, and included a summary of the entire process at the end of the video.
There were many thing that did not go as planned, some were beneficial, some not so much. For example I did not anticipate the backlighting making it hard to see the face which I would have preferred. However I also did not anticipate my phone panning up at the end of the video, which I thought was a great finish to the piece. Overall, I am very happy with how the piece turned out.
