TeamLAB is an international art collective that was founded in 2001 by a group of four Japanese artists. They have now grown to be a large group of interdisciplinary artists including engineers, programmers, and even mathematicians. They aimed to make large-scale installations and have successfully done that all around the world. Their unique technique of integrating digital art into the physical world using immersive installations is very impressive. Many of their installations explore the relationship between self and the world in hopes to inspire new forms of perceptions for their audience. They work on transcending the boundaries based on perceptions of the world and highlight the ambiguity between the natural world and the self. They aim to encourage the rediscovery of nature through technology.
