This week I worked on soldering my working circuit to my solder PCB board. As shown in the video below, while on the breadboard I was able to alter the brightness of the dress by moving my hand and accelerometer in the bottom left corner in the video. However, when I went to solder the accelerometer to the solder PCB board, I think I over heated a component on the accelerometer and was no longer to read values from it. I ordered another one, and once it got here, I did the same thing to the second one :_(
I decided to pivot to implementing a photocell into the circuit and was able to get that working. The finished circuit is shown below. I also sewed a fanny pack type pocket to hold the various circuit components as shown below. The only issue with this new setup is that the photocell is ineffective within the pocket.
