Hello! My name is Ana Roure and I am from San Juan Puerto Rico! Art fits into my current life as I would love to create puppets and animatronics in the future. I love combining art and technology and would love to continue to do so in the future. In my free time I like to build props and costumes from my favorite shows. Some of the costumes I’ve made include:

A lot of my inspirations come from cosplayers like PolygonForge, daregularsauce and many more. Companies like Disney, Universal Studios, Jim Henson’s creature shop and other practical effects or theme park companies inspire me to make more things like this.
Here are some props I’ve made:

I have a website for my full portfolio with more stuff I have made and with explanations on how I made them!
Hi Ana,
I would give you the ‘striking’ badge! Your work is very detailed and impressive!!
impressive – it looks like your pieces take a lot of work and time
Colorful- I think that many of the cosplays you have made hold true to the source material and are very playful/colorful. There is a lot of detail within each costume.
Familiar – I was really into cosplay when I was in high school and I especially liked making masks. Your princess mononoke work is very cool! I love that movie so much.
Detailed – your work shows a lot of attention to detail and accuracy in recreating the characters and objects from those shows/movies
Badge ~ “Detailed”
In order to recreate the character you understand the importance of the curves and text on the sword as well as the design texture of the mask.
Hi Ana, I’d like to give you the colorful badge for all the different colors you used in your works!
Hi Ana!
I would give you the – Familiar- badge because I love these anime’s and the cosplay is incredible! I’ve tried once but I am a very poor costume maker lol
Ana, your costumes are impressive and very colorful! Really enjoyed learning more about costume culture from your post.
