So after lots of days on working with this I was able to finish every part with LED’s in Genji’s body (Except for his helmet and sword).

Here is a video of me testing the legs and chest glowing in complete darkness. I think it looks pretty cool in the dark.
His helmet is basically almost done I just need to add the LED’s to them and get a plastic visor for the helmet. I 3D printed a second helmet because my first attempt on gluing the helmet was extremely rushed and unsuccessful so I used better and stronger glue and will add the LED’s to it.

As much as I wanted to finish the whole armor for the project, I know it wont be possible. I worked basically every day with the costume and was only able to finish the glowing body parts. I know that after this term is over I am probably going to continue working on the armor and fully finishing it.
It looks great Ana and I’m looking forward to it coming together! It’s great that you chose this project and that you plan to continue it even after this term.
I think it looks amazing and I think it was so smart to use the scrap prints to diffuse the lights!
It’s very exciting seeing this take shape!
If you have areas in the 3d print that you need to smooth out or gaps that you need to fill, I’ve had good luck with wood filler. It dries pretty quickly, you can sand it easily, and it takes paint well.
