My final piece is a painting that changes when viewed through a red filter.

It evolved from an abstract painting, where I was going to overlay an animation. When I made my maquette, I randomly chose red and blue paint, and realized that using red/blue LEDs made the red/blue paint disappear, respectively.

I ran with this idea, and ultimately decided on creating a surrealistic landscape with the words “you will always know” in red, and “what my soul looks like” in blue.
